The new road has a wide pavement extending from the traffic light toward the bank. Of course, it is natural to be careful of pedestrians and joggers. However, it is a pity that the pavement is cut around the Kenpo ground and the conventional road under the bank must be used for the Jisui Bridge. This time, I posted only the photos of the entrance area and the place where the pavement is cut. Please have everyone actually run and experience it.

The official Arakawa Cycling Road starts at JR Kita-Urawa Station and ends at Shinrinkoen. This section is managed as a prefectural road. The so-called Arakawa Cycling Road runs from Kasai Rinkai Park on the left bank to Kumagaya Arakawa Ohashi on the right bank, but there is a paved road on the embankment. Downstream from Hanekura Bridge is a river management road of the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism, which is not a formal cycling road, but it is this section that is wide. However, there are baseball and soccer grounds, many people go jogging or take a walk, and there are many points of contact with other users, such as the frequent holding of citizen marathons, and there are many troubles. Kasai Rinkai Park, Kitchen Toretate, Iwabuchi Water Gate, Arakawa Water Control Museum (AMOA), Arakawa Water Gate, Aya Lake, Enomoto Ranch, Honda Airport, Yoshimi Sakuratsutsumi, Yoshimi Sports Park Management Office, along the roadside of the so-called Arakawa Cycling Road. It is easy to maintain motivation because there are rest spots and landmarks such as Arakawa Water Pipe Bridge and Kumagaya Sakura Tsutsumi. Recently, the unpaved section in front of Kuge Bridge was finally paved, and the paved road was connected to Kumagaya. Because there is a coupure, the embankment is interrupted, and the car goes on an unpaved road that runs parallel to the bank (a road bike can run slowly) and bypasses the coupure. And, the unpaved road is designed to go up to the bank as soon as it passes the Oaso Coupure, and on the bank beyond that, you can comfortably run on a clean paved road to the end of the bank (starting point of the Arakawa embankment). This is not because the Arakawa Cycling Road is longer on the right bank, but the most upstream bank on the right bank is not as interesting as the left bank and ends without a hitch before the left bank. It is thought that there is something like a short embankment again on this side of the next bridge after the bridge, Rokudaiji (Shigetada Bridge). The total length of Arakawa Cycling Road is 84km on the left bank if you follow the kilometer mark. However, that on the right bank is exactly the "phantom kilometer".
