店主のおばちゃん、内山さんいわく、「日本で一番古いかどうかわからないけど、東京では一番古いわね」とのこと。
あれこれ買って500円くらい。
おばちゃんひとりで、ほぼ年中無休で営業。お体を大事に、末永く続けてください。
 Founded in the precincts of the Kishimo Shrine, it was founded in the middle of the Edo period in 1781 (first year of Tenmei).
According to Uchiyama-san, the owner of the store, "I don't know if Japan is the oldest, Tokyo is the oldest."
I bought this for about 500 yen.
Aunt alone, open for business almost all year round. Please take good care of yourself and continue for a long time.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ コロナのため昨年のお正月に鬼子母神様にお参りに行ったときから行けてません。ミナツネのあんずを買いたいです。やはり駄菓子はAmazonや楽天ではなく、こういうお店でおばあちゃんから買いたい。今度の正月は行けるといいんですが。古地図に「あめや」と書かれているのは何度みてもいいものです。
Because of the corona, I haven't been able to go since I went to visit Kishimojin last New Year. I want to buy apricots of Minatsune. After all, I want to buy sweets from my grandma at such a store, not Amazon or Rakuten. I hope I can go to the next New Year. You can see the word "Ameya" on the old map as many times as you like.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 東京豊島区雑司ヶ谷、鬼子母神の境内にある駄菓子屋さんの上川口屋。看板には「創業1781年」とあるので、江戸時代の天明元年に創業なんですかね。今から240年も前から駄菓子屋さんを開かれているとは驚きです。昭和レトロどころではありません(･o･;)

駄菓子屋といえば普通は自宅でと言うのが当たり前だがここは境内に堂々とかなりの昔からある。
おばあちゃんインバウンド向けに英語の勉強されて、きちんと応対する。
大したものです。NHKの番組にも出ていた。

ぼったくり価格とお嘆きのコメントもありますが、まあお祭りの出店位の気分で買えば良いと思ってます。何よりこの景色を残すためには売上に貢献しておかないと（笑）
店主のおばあさんの後継者問題が心配です。

他の駄菓子屋で20円の金平糖を50円で売ってきます。
かなりのボッタクリ店です。
もちろんレシートなども出ませんよ。証拠残したくないのかな？怖すぎ。
やる気もなく、雨の日など、集客が見込めない日は、平気で休みます。
気分で営業されてるようですね。
※観光客の外国人の皆様へ。日本にも、こういうお店があります、ご注意下さい。
同じ日本人として恥ずかしいです。本当にごめんなさい。
