間宮林蔵は、
・樺太を一周して島だと認識したのではなく、樺太の北西端の岬まで来て潮の流れが北側に向かっていることから大陸続きではないと判断した。
・日本測量していた伊能忠敬と出会っていた。
・間宮海峡へは二回行っている。一回目は随行員だった。
・アイヌの方々と行っている。
と言うことは、大きな船ではなかった？
・間宮海峡の存在はシーボルトが(結果的に)全世界に広めた。
・アイディアマンだった。
