散歩されている住人の方に話しかけられました。
十年ちょと前に建て替えたとのこと(門は残した)
いや～神社お寺はの建築費はケタ違いなんですね。
驚きました。本光寺の山門はいくらとか地元の方だけあってまたまたお詳しい（汗）
近くで見ると思ったより大きくホント立派な神社でした。
由緒と改築の際の碑はアップで写真を撮りました。

 There is a magnificent shrine near Honkoji, so I stopped by.

It was a bigger and more magnificent shrine than I expected to see nearby.
