★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 令和2年3月の公園整備で、多少ながらも敷地が増えています。隣接道路から直接見学できます。案内板も新しくなっていました。

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 入り口がわかりづらいですが北側の細い路地から入れます。住宅街の中に1500年も前の古墳がひっそりと残っているのは不思議な感じ。この辺りは、ず〜っと人が住んでいたのかな。

It seems that it was a fairly large tumulus in the photo on the explanation board, but it was often left in the residential area. The excavated items are stored in the Tokyo National Museum.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 住宅地の中にある古墳。一見、どうやって敷地内に入るのか悩むが、裏側に回り込むと中に入れる。今ではネコの額程の狭い土地だが、この辺一帯は古墳がたくさんあったらしい。

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 住宅街の中にある古墳です。道路から奥に入ったところにあり、入り口に看板があります。石積の階段を上がると墳丘の上に石碑と古墳の概要を記した掲示があります。開発の過程でどんどん削られ、今の姿になっているようです。10月に訪問したのですがまだ蚊がたくさんいました。夏はご注意を。
It is a tumulus in a residential area. There is a signboard at the entrance at the back of the road. When you go up the stone masonry stairs, you will find a sign on the mound that outlines the stele and the tumulus. It seems that it has been sharpened during the development process and is now in its current form. I visited in October but there were still a lot of mosquitoes. Be careful in summer.

遺物も東京国立博物館にあって、遺跡って感じがしないのが寂しい。
でも、説明書きがしっかり書いています。
This tumulus is surrounded by houses, and the small guide plates make it a little difficult to notice.
The relics are also in the Tokyo National Museum, so it's lonely that you don't feel the ruins.
