★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 寛永年間（1624～44）の初め、当地開発の際に五穀の神として祀り、亀高新田村の鎮守となりました。昭和20年の空襲により焼失しましたが、昭和38年に地守稲荷神社を亀高稲荷神社に合祀し、亀高神社と改称し昭和43年に現社殿が落成しました。なお、”亀高”は亀戸新田と高橋新田それぞれの頭を合わせたことに由来します。
At the beginning of the Kanei era (1624-44), during the development of the area, it was worshiped as a god of five grains, and became the guardian of Kametaka Nitta Village. It was destroyed by fire during the air raids of 1945, but in 1958 Jimori Inari Shrine was enshrined at Kametaka Inari Shrine, renamed Kametaka Shrine, and the current shrine was completed in 1968. "Kametaka" comes from the combination of Kameido Nitta and Takahashi Nitta's heads.

2箇所の出口がそのまま住宅地へとつながっているため、
人の往来がままある。
とはいえ境内は、本当に静かなもの。
