★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 文明7年(1475年)、関東管領である上杉顕定の家臣であった長尾景春は、主君に反旗を翻して鉢形城に立て籠り、挙兵しました。
これを鎮圧しようとした上杉勢は、かえって長尾勢に打ち破られ、上州まで落ちのびて来ることとなりました。
その時、逃げ込んだのが、この宿阿内城だと言われています。
この城で顕定は再起を図り、上杉の同族の重臣であった太田道灌らの活躍により、勢力を盛り返して景春を破ったといいます。
いまは遺構もありませんが、城跡を示す看板の前には「女体神社」という、何とも艶かしい名前の社が建っています。
なぜ、こんな名前になったのか？何か、お城に関係があるのでしょうか(-ω- ?)

In this castle the reappraisal was aimed at recurrence, Ota Okira et al. Who was a citizen of the Uesugi family, said that they rebounded power and defeated Kage.
There is no remnant now, but in front of a sign showing the castle site there is a company with a glossy name, "female body shrine".
