★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 校門の左側に創設者の陸奥さんの名前をつけた見事な桜の花が満開です。色の濃淡が美しいので、皆さん立ち止まって写真を撮っていました。

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 私の祖母の母校です 大正時代ですが…鎌女はこの頃からテニスを取り入れており時代の先端？をいってたかな？ 鎌倉駅は地元人はバスターミナルの方を鎌倉駅 反対の江ノ電乗り場を裏駅と言います 何故か？ 祖母によるとバスターミナル側は一家の当主が東京から帰還の時に車に乗って家路に向かう方で 裏駅は江ノ電があり 主に各、邸宅の使用人達の乗り物でした その頃は現在の2倍駅があったそうで 鎌倉駅に着いた荷物など江ノ電で運んでいたようです 現在の鎌倉駅改札左側のレストラン街がある場所が一等車両に乗る方々の大きい待合室だったそうです。

校舎の外観はとても素敵で、他校に通っているお友達からも「素敵だね！」と褒めてもらう事が多々あります。また、学校の内部も、清掃員の方が毎日お掃除をして下さっており、とても綺麗な状態に保たれています。トイレも個室が沢山あり、清潔感があります。
校庭やアリーナは狭めで運動に力を入れている訳では無いですが、運動プログラムを用意して下さったりと、充実しています。体育祭は通常鎌倉市の体育館をお借りして開催しています。
また、伊豆の天城に別荘を所持しており、自然を感じることができます。
私立なこともあり、先生方の質もとても良いです。
言葉遣いが丁寧な先生方が多く、育ちの良さが感じられます。先輩方を見ていると、先生方とはとても仲良くしていらっしゃり、信頼関係を築いていることがよく分かります。
少人数な方なので、生徒の中もクラス関係無く仲が良く、他クラスの子が休み時間に遊びに来ることもよくあります。人間なので「あの子ちょっと､､､」と話している子もたまに居ますが、いじめはありません。
勉強面では特に英語に力を入れており、中学2年生の段階で英検3級ぐらいであれば特に対策をしなくても余裕で合格することができます。
Chromebookの導入を始め、パソコンを使っての授業も行うようになりました。パソコンは重いので持って帰るのが大変ですが、学校にはロッカーがあるので置いて帰る事も可能です。
少し長くなってしまいましたが、参考になることが出来ましたのなら光栄です。

The schoolyard and arena are not so small and we are not focusing on exercise, but we have prepared an exercise program and it is fulfilling. Sports festivals are usually held by renting a gymnasium in Kamakura City.
In addition, we have a villa in Amagi, Izu, so you can feel the nature.
The quality of the teachers is very good because it is private.
There are many teachers who speak politely, and I can feel the goodness of growing up. Looking at the seniors, you can see that they are very close to the teachers and have a relationship of trust.
Since the number of students is small, the students get along well regardless of the class, and children from other classes often come to play during breaks. Since I am a human being, there are some children who say, "That child is a little ...", but there is no bullying.
In terms of studying, I am particularly focusing on English, and if I am in the second year of junior high school, I can pass the Eiken exam at the third grade without any special measures.
Beginning with the introduction of Chromebooks, we have also started to teach using personal computers. Computers are heavy and difficult to bring home, but there are lockers at school so you can leave them home.
