★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 防災国体で初めて行きました。立派な施設で、隣に復興住宅が建っていたのが印象的でした。
 I went to the National Athletic Meet for the first time. It was a magnificent facility, and it was impressive that a reconstruction house was built next to it.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ ラグビーワールドカップのファンゾーンになっています。駅からは少しばかり離れていますが、目の前は大通りになっているので食べ物屋がそろっています。釜石ラーメンが有名なので寄ってみるのも良いと思います。また、ファンゾーン裏手からシャトルバス（片道1000円）も出るので駅から直接ラグビー場へ行くよりも一度立ち寄ってから会場に行ってみるのも良いのではないでしょうか。
It is a fan zone of the Rugby World Cup. Although it is a little away from the station, there are many food shops because it is a main street in front of you. I think that Kamaishi ramen is famous, so you can stop by. Also, there is a shuttle bus (1000 yen one way) from the back of the fan zone.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 休憩するにも良い。震災からもう10年近く…復興が徐々に進み、新しい街作りが進んでるよね。あと、俺、この際だから伝えたいけど、震災後も東北の被災地で10代のいじめによる自殺とか暗い話もあった。新しい街作りとかが復興と言えるのだろうか？俺は違うと思う。被災地で生きる人達１人１人が他者の痛みや辛さの分かる優しい人間になれる。これが１番大切なのではないのだろうか？亡くなった人達の死も、世界中の沢山の人達の支援も、みんな無駄になっちゃうよ。じゃないと…

講義も大変勉強になり生きる糧になりました。

年に2回は必須で更新情報もあるので来年から改善されればと感じました。

Personally
Twice a year is mandatory and there is updated information, so I felt that it would be improved from next year.

以降も大きなラグビーイベントで訪れるたびに、こちらでファンイベントなどがあり、なんだかんだで訪れています。
キャパは小さいので大イベントには向かなそうだけど、街のサイズからするとちょうどいい多目的ホールなのかも。
First visit to Japan v Fiji at PNC 2019.
