小鉢も旨い❗（ご飯の、おかわりできます）
嫁っ子の稲庭うどんも、うどんののど越しが最高でした。
I am visiting 2020-11-2.
We recommend the 800 yen fried chicken set meal.
The small bowl is also delicious ❗ (Rice can be refilled)
My daughter-in-law, Inaniwa Udon, also had the best udon noodles.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ ランチもやっているような居酒屋で刺身や焼き魚など魚料理が豊富で豚カツなどもある。以前は宴会して騒がしい感じもあったが、カウンターには１人の常連客が多い。
It's an izakaya that also serves lunch, and there are plenty of fish dishes such as sashimi and grilled fish, as well as pork cutlets. It used to be noisy at banquets, but there are many regular customers at the counter.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ When I am passing by Kakunodate I always drop in at Hitsujiya for lunch. The master-san is wonderful and food is great. I have been going there for the past 15 years and only have had their shogayaki (gingered pork) because it is so good! I will have to try something else on the menu sometime .... Comes with a full 5-stars for me!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I thought it was quite tasty! Went there for dinner after scoping out the town. We ate the Udon and Kiritanpo meals. No English menu but the staff was good at reading Japanese (who would have guessed?) which made ordering quite easy.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ It might be the cold weather talking, but this place has the BEST Tonkatsu I’ve tasted. The meat was fatty, tender and juicy! Service is good and staff friendly too.
No English menu though. I’m sure Google translate can help. But as all Izakayas go, indoor smoking is allowed. Not overwhelming though.
