★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 車は４～５台程度駐車可能。小さな広場が隣接され、ベンチやテーブルがあります。広場からは上越方面の景色が一望できます。
About 4 to 5 cars can be parked. A small square is adjacent, with benches and tables. You can see the view of Joetsu from the square.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 山頂や道中の眺めは星5ですがこの登山口は60代前後の私達には飴とムチムチ！段差のある階段地獄。時間は短いが傾斜が厳しく、ひたすら登るブナ林も良かったけど多分次回ここからは登りたくないです。体育会系男子にぴったりです。ちなみに長野の山々では初級から中級位登っててます。
時間はかかりますが、大平コースから登るのが一般的みたいです。
The view of the mountaintop and the road is 5 stars, but this trailhead is a candy and a whip for us around 60s! Stepped stairs hell. The time is short, but the slope is steep, and the beech forest that I just climbed was good, but I probably don't want to climb from here next time. Perfect for athletic boys. By the way, in the mountains of Nagano, I climb from beginner to intermediate level.
It takes time, but it seems that it is common to climb from the Ohira course.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ ちゅうしゃじょうからのけしきがよいです。ただ停められる台数が少なく休日は混みます。道も細いので注意が必要です。
It's good to have a good time from the beginning. However, the number of cars that can be parked is small and it is crowded on holidays. The road is narrow, so be careful.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 下牧コースとの合流までが結構キツくて、何度も立ち止まりながら進みました。ブナ林で気持ちよかったのですが、息が上がるような急な階段がずっと続きます。合流してからは岩場がメインになって、むしろ楽でした！なので、前半頑張れれば、後半は行けるはずです！！
It was quite difficult to join the Shimomaki course, so I stopped and proceeded many times. It was nice to see the beech forest, but the steep stairs that made me breathe continue all the time. After merging, the rocky area became the main, and it was rather easy! So, if you do your best in the first half, you should be able to go in the second half! !!

なかなかの上り坂の連続。ほぼ真っ直ぐに登っていくので傾斜キツめ。
駐車場からの眺めも直江津方面だけですが良いです。
帰り道分岐間違えて旧登山道に入ってしまったので注意です。
紅葉は山頂付近が色づき始め。これからです。

It's quite a series of uphills. It climbs almost straight, so it's a steep slope.
The view from the parking lot is good only in the direction of Naoetsu.
Please note that you entered the old mountain trail by mistake on the way back.
The autumn leaves begin to change color near the summit. From now on.
