わたしはエルビー製品のことごとくが好きだ。 同社の製品の清涼飲料水をほぼ毎日、摂取して生きている。 ゼロカロリーの飲料水は勿論、冷蔵庫から消えたことがない。 低糖質、或いはゼロ糖質で美味しさを追求する姿勢に首を垂れざるをえない。
なかでも、ルビーチョコミントドリンクはわたしの好みのど真ん中でルビーチョコという最新鋭でしかも薫り高い食材を用いて 80年代の粋であるミントチョコ味に仕上げ素晴らしい完成度の味を誇り、しかもその美味しさでカロリーが(たしか)22キロカロリーなんて神がかっている。
こんな夢のような製品を紡ぎだす開発力はまさに驚きでしかない。
しかし、惜しむらくはこのルビーチョコミントドリンクは本当に短期限定商品で陳列棚には１ヶ月足らずしか並んでいなかった。 当初から危うい予感がして買い支えていたつもりだったが、その甲斐なく終売を迎えてしまった。
願わくは、定番商品として位置付けられること。 切に祈念して止まない。
