★ ★ ★ ★ ★ この高瀬川にかかる橋 正面橋 と言われます。道も正面通 秀吉が方広寺を造ってからですね。それまでは、七条坊門小路として東西本願寺がなかった頃てすから真っ直ぐな道だったらしいです。18世期の終わり頃落雷の為大仏殿が焼けた後、わらべ歌が[京の京の大仏さんは天火で焼けてな 三十三間堂が焼け残った アリャドンドン コリャドンドン うしろの正面どなた？！]うしろ正面だあれ の原型の様なものが出来たみたいです。いずれにしろ秀吉の影が今でもよぎります。

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This little bridge is awesome. It spans a little canal next to the river and seems very happy doing so. Houses and other businesses on the roads on either side I'm sure appreciate using the bridge to cross the canal. It's also very pretty with the trees and water. If you are in the area, say "hi" to the bridge and appreciate all that it is.
