★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great Omi-branded beef restaurant in Otsu city. The quality of the wagyu (Omi brand) is top-notch, yet the price is reasonable, partly because you will cook your meat by yourself right on the table. 200g beef fillet costs 11,000 JPY for reference.
Tip: There are only three major wagyu beef brands in Japan. Kobe beef, Omi beef, and Matsusaka beef.
