★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 北条氏康が初陣の小沢原の戦いで勝った時に喜んで登った坂。史跡を示すものは無く、近くに勝坂の名前の建物があった程度。
 The slope that Hojo Ujiyasu was happy to climb when he won the battle of Ozawahara for the first time. There is no historic site, and there was a building named Katsusaka nearby.

『１６世紀に北条早雲の孫、新九郎氏康（しんくろううじやす）が上杉朝興（うえすぎともおき）と初陣を戦って勝利した。 その喜びで、氏康はこの急坂を「勝った、勝った！」と叫びながら駆け上った』
このような名称のいわれが残っています。 （かつて坂の上の桜の樹の根元にあった細山郷土資料館の案内板の表記。 資料館は2015年に閉館し、その後老朽化のためか案内板も撤去されています）
坂の頂上は眺めが良い高台で南東から西の方向が開けており、富士山を望むには絶好の場所です。 また、坂上付近の桜の樹は春には綺麗な花を咲かせます。ソメイヨシノとヤマザクラ系でしょうか、薄桃色と、若葉の緑が混ざった白色の花が楽しめます。
坂の頂上は標高110mの高さがありますが、現在の東西方向の坂は急坂ではありません。 多分、若き武将が駆け上がった坂は、現在の南北方向に傾斜がある急斜面にあったのではないかと推測します。 50年くらい前の航空写真を見るとそこに道があるように見えました。（その頃は階段だったらしい）

"In the 16th century, Hojo Soun's grandson, Shinkuro Ujiyasu, fought against Uesugi Tomooki for the first time and won. With that joy, Ujiyasu ran up this steep slope, shouting, "I won, I won!"
It is said that such a name remains. (Notation of the information board of the Hosoyama Folk Museum, which used to be at the base of the cherry tree on the slope. The museum was closed in 2015, and the information board has been removed since then, probably because of aging.)
The top of the hill is a hill with a nice view and opens from the southeast to the west, making it a great place to see Mt. Fuji. Also, the cherry trees near Sakagami bloom beautiful flowers in spring. Perhaps it is a Yoshino cherry tree and a wild cherry tree, you can enjoy white flowers that are a mixture of light pink and green of young leaves.
The top of the slope is 110m above sea level, but the current east-west slope is not a steep slope. I presume that the slope on which the young military commander ran up was probably on a steep slope with a slope in the current north-south direction. Looking at the aerial photograph about 50 years ago, it seemed that there was a road there. (It seems that it was a staircase at that time)

新百合ヶ丘駅からアクセスする際、途中に急な坂道があります。自転車で来る際はお気をつけ下さい。
その他、ここは見通しの悪い狭い車道で、専用の見晴らし台等はありません。
A little-known scenic spot. You can see Wakabadai on your right and Yurigaoka on your left.
When accessing from Shin-Yurigaoka Station, there is a steep slope on the way. Please be careful when you come by bicycle.
In addition, this is a narrow road with poor visibility, and there is no dedicated viewing platform.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 視界の開けた場所で、年間を通じて日の出や日没、またサクラの咲く頃は特にオススメかもしれない。
以前は勝坂(かちざか)の説明板があったが、いまは撤去されてしまっている。
