★ ★ ★ ★ ★ モネの池へ向かう道中、たまたま通りかかり気になったので寄ってみたのですが、とても素晴らしい神社です。
細道からのロケーション最高！狛犬様は必見です。お城の御朱印みたいなものは200円、御朱印は300円で、予め用意してありお金は賽銭箱へ入れるパターンのやつです。
 I happened to pass by on the way to Monet's Pond, so I decided to stop by, but it's a wonderful shrine.
The best location from the narrow road! Komainu is a must-see. A red stamp for a castle is 200 yen, and a red stamp is 300 yen. It's a pattern that you have prepared in advance and put money in a donation box.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 山中にある静かで落ち着いた神社。何とも言えない良い雰囲気です。平安時代に創建された歴史ある神社です。この辺りの大桑地区は戦国時代の美濃国守護職土岐氏の拠点で、大桑城跡や菩提寺の南泉寺があり、神社も氏神様として崇敬してました。
越前の朝倉家と交流があったそうで、神社の狛犬は越前産の笏谷(しゃくだに)石で作られてます。
御朱印は拝殿賽銭箱そばの箱の中にありました。また山県市や明智光秀等の観光パンフレットが置いてありました。
光秀は本能寺の変で討ち取られたのが通説ですが、山県市内には死んだのは影武者で、光秀は生きて晩年を過ごしたとの伝説が伝わっています。
神社へは県道から200〜300m入りますが、すれ違いができない車1台分の狭い道なので十分注意して下さい。

The Okuwa area around this area was the base of the Mino country guardian Toki during the Warring States period, where the site of Okuwa Castle and the Nansenji Temple of the Bodaiji Temple were worshiped as shrines.
It seems that there was an exchange with the Asakura family in Echizen, and the shrine's guardian dogs are made of shakudani stone from Echizen.
Goshushi was in the box near the shrine offering box. In addition, there were tourist pamphlets from Yamagata City and Mitsuhide Akechi.
It is customary that Mitsuhide was defeated in the case of Honnoji Temple, but it is legendary that in the prefecture of Yamagata, it was Kagemusha who died and that Mitsuhide lived and spent his later years.
The shrine is 200-300m from the prefectural road, but be careful because it is a narrow road for one car that cannot pass each other.
