It is a Shinshu Otani school temple with Shiogoshi, Katamachi, Nikaho City. The main deity is Amida Nyorai. It seems that it was built as the first Shinshu temple in Akita prefecture. The Okino and Bronze Myodai Gates held in this temple are designated cultural properties by the prefecture.
