★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 古瀬間城跡の下にあるためか、とても静かな佇まいのお寺。山門の中に鐘楼がありました。本堂は大きくて古そうです。庭園も綺麗に整備されていました。檀家さんも多く居そうです。
This temple is very quiet because it is under the ruins of Furusema Castle. There was a bell tower in the gate. The main hall looks big and old. The garden was also beautifully maintained. There seems to be many Danya-san.

It takes about 20 minutes by bus from Toyota City and about 7 minutes on foot from the bus stop. One bus for one or two hours.

ここから東に小高い山を越えた大窪に大窪遺跡があります。
縄文時代から室町時代の土器片などが出土したらしい。
遺跡は岩室になっており、縄文期は誰かが暮らしていたのか、祭祀の場所であったのか定かでない。
周りは杉林となっているが、巨石がごろごろしていて想像力をかき立てられる面白いところです。

The Okubo Ruins are located in Okubo, which crosses a small mountain to the east of here.
It seems that pieces of earthenware from the Jomon period to the Muromachi period were excavated.
The ruins are rock chambers, and it is unclear whether someone lived or was a place of ritual during the Jomon period.
The surrounding area is a cedar forest, but it is an interesting place where you can stir your imagination with the boulders.
