★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 長禅寺という禅宗寺院があったが荒廃していたので慶長元(1596)年知多郡師崎の羽頭神社別当職神宮寺の初代重信法印が禅宗寺院長禅寺を再建して開山となり、神宮寺と称して天台宗に改めた。本尊は、雲谷の普門寺から譲り受けた大日如来像である。昭和20年空襲によって伽藍を全て焼失したが、昭和40年本堂・庫裏が再興された。「延命地蔵」「身代わり地蔵」と呼ばれ、願いを叶えてくれるお地蔵様として信仰を集めている地蔵がある。
There was a Zen Buddhist temple called Chozenji Temple, but it was devastated. The name was changed to Tendai sect. The main deity is the Dainichi Nyorai statue inherited from Bomonji Temple in Unya. In 1945 air raids destroyed all the cathedrals, but in 1965 the main hall and the back of the warehouse were rebuilt. There is a Jizo called "Enmei Jizo" or "Substitute Jizo", which has been worshiped as a Jizo that fulfills wishes.

護摩祈願を１０時からやっています。
こじんまりでアットホームで気軽にこれます
和尚さまも奥さんも話やすく面白いかったです。
時間は三、四十分ぐらいです。
護摩木は200円です。
ちょっと行ってみたい、どんな感じ
でもオススメです‼️
