★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 1949年12月26日に栃木県今市市（現在の日光市）鶏鳴山付近を震源とする内陸直下型地震で、沢が土砂崩れによって堰き止められてできた湖。
周囲は地震の爪痕が未だ残り、独特の地形である。
直ぐ側には、電気は通っていないのだが、人が住んでいたとみられる大きな小屋がある。
周囲の路はしっかりしているが、一人ではちょっと心細い。
 A lake that was swamped by a landslide in an inland-type earthquake centered on Mt. Jinaru, Imaichi City, Tochigi Prefecture (now Nikko City) on December 26, 1949.
The surrounding area still has earthquake marks and has a unique terrain.
There is a large hut on the immediate side that does not carry electricity but seems to have lived there.
Surrounding roads are solid, but alone is a little thin.
