★ ★ ★ ★ ★ It is a long scary walk through the jungle past many many potentially deadly spiders and potentially lethal snakes that you have to do without the company of any of the islands cats who don't feel the need to go look at the lighthouse. Despite the potential to get totally lost and die slowly from a potentially deadly snake or spider attack, I can say I did actually make it to the lighthouse, only seeing 2 potentially deadly snakes and 200 potentially deadly spiders. I would also think that there is the potential to run into thick undergrowth if the path hasn't been cleared recently. I don't think there is the potential to run into potentially deadly wild boar or bears, so in that sense it is quite safe.
