★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 岩瀬高校グランドの西側の狭い道路の半谷側，茂みに隠れるように「城館跡 岩瀬城跡」と記された標柱があります。この碑から西側に細長く三郭の直線連郭式の城郭（或いは館）があったようですが，築城年代・城主ともはっきりしません。益子氏か笠閒氏の支城だったのかも知れません。
岩瀬城総合娯楽センターに向かう方は，うっかり間違ってこちらの薮の中に侵入しないよう注意してください。
On the half-valley side of the narrow road on the west side of the Iwase High School Grand, there is a pillar marked "Castle Ruins Iwase Castle Ruins" so as to hide in the bushes. It seems that there was a long and narrow straight-lined castle (or pavilion) on the west side of this monument, but it is not clear when the castle was built or the owner of the castle. It may have been a branch of Mr. Masuko or Mr. Kasaburi.
If you are heading to the Iwase Castle General Entertainment Center, please be careful not to accidentally invade this bush.
