昔、ここには５階建てアパートが20頭位建っており、食料品や雑貨などを売ってた常磐生協があったりと、ひとつの街がありました。
昭和60年頃だったか豪雨災害があり、
それが、きっかけかと思われるのだが、炭鉱も衰退し、そのアパートに、住んでる住人も徐々に減っていき、いつの間にか消えてなくなりました。
