「畝傍の道」巻一の四の六　御所市大字原谷６厳島神社（いつくしまじんじゃ）御祭神は、安芸の宮島の「嚴島神社」とおなじく、市杵島姫命（いちきしまひめのみこと）です。ほぼ真西に向きを変えると「市杵島姫神社（いちきしまひめじんじゃ）」が鎮座おはします。厳島神社は国家鎮護の神として古より崇拝されてきました。総本社の神社とは規模こそ違え、全国に鎮座おはしますので、どこからでも皇室安泰のお祈りができご利益も頂けるということでしょう。少し小高いこちらの神社を訪れてびっくりしたのは、お参りがおわって眼下に広がる民家を見ていたら、足元から急に女性の大きな声で「はあい、どこから来られた？」と真下から声が聞こえたようで、この私もついに来たかって感じで肝を冷やしました。あービックリした‼下にあるご自身の畑を耕しておられたのです!! でも親しくお参りに来ている人に声をかけていただくのは、奈良ならでは !!こういう人情がまわっていて楽しいので星五つ!! 次はいったん少し下ってあとは国見山まで緩い上り道が続きます。その先からいよいよ国見神社の神域に足を踏み入れます。
