★ ★ ★ ★ ★ いつき。京都府綾部市下八田町の神社。主祭神は、伊邪那美命。麻呂子親王の伝承あり。同名の神社は、舞鶴、若桜、但馬(養父市長野)にあるほか、兵庫県市島町には、伊都伎神社がある。綾部市だと、味方町、上原町、下原町、橋上町、下替地町など、上八田の福太神社、笠原神社も見ておきたい。
麻呂子親王の伝承とは、鬼退治伝説のこと。用明天皇の時、大江山に、英胡・軽足・土熊の3鬼が庶民を苦しめており、天皇は麻呂子親王に征伐を命じた。馬や犬の登場人物がある。清園寺古縁起に記されており、酒呑童子伝説との類似性や混同も見られる。
現地は、綾部駅から北東に3.2Km。国道27号線、味方信号を北へ2.1Km、道路沿いに見える。駐車場は、神社前にある広場を借りる。
 Itsuki. A shrine in Shimoyata-cho, Ayabe City, Kyoto Prefecture. The main deity is Izanami Mimei. There is a tradition of Maroko. The shrines of the same name are in Maizuru, Wakasa, and Tajima (Nagano, Yabu City), and in Ichijima Town, Hyogo Prefecture, there is the Ito Shrine. In Ayabe City, you should also see Fukuta Shrine and Kasahara Shrine in Kamiyata, such as Mikatacho, Ueharacho, Shimobaracho, Hashigamicho, and Shitanokachicho.
The tradition of King Maroko is the legend of exterminating demons. At the time of Emperor Yōmei, three demons, Eiko, light foot, and Dokuma, were afflicting the common people on Mt. Oe, and the emperor ordered King Maroko to conquer. There are characters of horses and dogs. It is written in Seionji Koenki, and there are some similarities and confusion with the legend of Shuten-doji.
The site is 3.2km northeast of Ayabe Station. National highway No. 27, 2.1km north of the ally signal, can be seen along the road. For the parking lot, rent a plaza in front of the shrine.
