Ito Yokado - Fukushima

衣料品はユニクロやイオンより安価で質の良いものが多いと思います。 駐車場は何も買い物しなくても２時間まで無料であり、雨でも濡れずに店内に入れる立体駐車場もあるので、いつでも気軽にふらっと行けるのが良いですね！

食料品から衣料、日用品まで全部揃う小売店。 若い人向けの衣料は無いが、中年以上のそこそこのメーカーの衣料を買いに行きます。 しかし、最近従業員の接客の悪さが目立ちます。特に、2階。 2階紳士服売り場のAという女性店員の接客が悪いです。 レジに買う服を持って行った所、自分のいるレジまでわざわざ客を移動させ、(その際"”すみませんが”の一言も無し)最初から最後まで客と思ってないような態度。 また、以前は女性下着売り場の別の店員2人も態度悪かったです。店員同士でお喋りをしていたのですが、聞きたい事があったので近寄って行ったら「来ちゃった」という表情をしていました。 こういう態度をされると、買い物をする気が無くなります。

昔からあるお店です。 駅前にありますが、駐車場も広く、多くのお客様が訪れます。 食料品はもちろん、医療品や家電まで揃うのでとても便利です。

Big supermarket in Japan standards, several floors of clothing homeware, no kids cheap stores. Has most things from writing, books, suitcases, linen. It has a small restaraunt on 2nd floor. Good service and good food. Close to train station.

The second visit. Must go to cooking utensils section. During Jan sale, brought some authentic Japanese made lacquer tableware. Happy to find 2 aluminum cooking pots this time.

Had a quick bite at local store here, not bad though only had an hour here. Will be nice to come back for another visit. Its located opposite Fukushima Station.

Lived in Fukushima City for one year in 2019-2020 and this was our "go to" store for groceries and sundry items. Literally across the street from the Fukushima City train station and shinkansen lines and next door to the Celecton Hotel. The store has a huge open and covered parking lot on the other side of the store from street side which you cannot see from the train station, with free parking for the first two hours (without purchase)...it seems to function as a municipal overflow parking for the train station across the street. Standard layout: nice grocery store coupled with a department store on street level and two floors above, drycleaners and shoe repair vendors. No basement level. Bentos and other food to go in the grocery section. Saizereya family restaurant on second floor and good calm place to R&R in between train rides. Ito Yokado is part of the Japanese 7/11 franchise and this store has the friendliest staff imaginable. Hard to understand the remarks about rude or slow salespeople - they will rush around to service customers and be of help. Not many English speaking staff but if you ask for one they will bring someone over to help you. There are places to sit and take the load off your feet if you're exhausted from the travel, including a small cafeteria style restaurant with ramen and other selections including ice cream. The train station does not have many places to sit down and relax. In the middle of the store at ground level there is a quiet area with tables and chairs and ATM machines, but you cannot see it from the front entrance. You have to walk into the store about mid way to find it. Be sure to tidy up when you leave because that is the protocol.
