L	Laure Denis on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Itamae shinbashi was the first sushis restaurant we tried in our two weeks trip in Japan and it was really good because you can have delicious and high quality fish. We tried the tuna set wich was very tasty and had great pieces of fatty tuna. It was excellent for the price ! And even if they don't speak a lot of english, they were very friendly, welcoming and patient as we did not speak a word of japanese. Anyway, this is a good place to have good sushis in a good neighborhood :)

However it's not non smoking so it's pure luck for non smokers to dine there. For people who doesn't eat raw sushi, this may not be a wise place to go as menu might be limited.

One bonus point, they do use fresh wasabi on top of the rice (below the fish) so it does taste much better than what you would normally expect for sushis in this price range. I'll definitely be back for lunch there again.

We love coming to Itamae, we love using the handy tablet to order, we love the specials and we love the feeling of having enjoyed a perfect meal when it's all done. Highly recommended!
A	Angelina Hladen on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Best sushi I tired for a reasonable price. It’s not a cheap sushi place, but not overly expensive either. Every time I went I had a very pleasant experience. Fish is always very fresh. They occasionally take the fish out to the tank and prepare it right in front of you, which is both fascinating and strange at the same time. Like in a way fish is yet to realise it’s already dead.
