神磯の鳥居から舗装された遊歩道になっているため、こちら側から来る方が歩きやすいです。
 You can get to the back of the Oarai Hotel from the main street.
It is easier to walk from this side because it is a paved promenade from the tomb of the shrine.

大洗ホテルに宿泊し、早朝の満潮に訪れた際には海の中で、荒波と飛沫に囲まれていました。大洗という地の印象の通りの波の中の灯台は、その役目を終え、歴史を感じます。また、小さな灯台だけに、波が一層と激しく見えてきます。
朝食後、5歳の娘と再訪した際は、やや波が引け、灯台と地続きになったり、ならなかったり。娘はそのアドベンチャーらしさに、大喜びでした。

I stayed at the Oarai Hotel, and when I visited in the early morning high tide, I was surrounded by rough waves and splashes in the sea. The lighthouse in the wave of the street impression of the land of Oarai finishes its role and feels the history. Also, the waves are seen more and more intensely only in the small lighthouse.
After breakfast, when I revisited with my 5-year-old daughter, the waves closed up slightly and became a lighthouse and landslide, etc. My daughter was overjoyed at the adventure.

後ろにホテルがあるので、清々しい！って場所ではないです。

波に背を向けないほうがいいですよ。

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The view was indeed really nice and visitors get to go near the lighthouse and play around. Kids pretend to be characters from the Avatar series doing their water bending.
Be careful to not have your shoes wet as the waves go higher from time to time.
