★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 天気のよい日曜日でしたが、他には誰も居なくゆっくりと見学出来ました。磯子火力発電所は結構古い発電所のようですが、エネルギープラザ側から見るときれいに整備してありました。
It was a sunny Sunday, but nobody else was able to visit it slowly. Choshi thermal power plant seems to be quite old power plant, but it was neatly maintained from the energy plaza side.

外観、内部ともに世界でもトップクラスのクリーンな環境だと思います。石炭燃料だと通常かなり周囲はホコリっぽくなり汚れるのですが、LNG燃料の発電所よりクリーンです。
煙突の煙突感はありませんが、隣の南横浜のノスタルジックかつ力強い煙突と比べると新旧のデザインの進化を感じます。

I think that it is a world-class clean environment both in appearance and inside. Coal fuel is usually much dusty and dirty, but it is cleaner than LNG fueled power plants.
There is no chimney feeling of the chimney, but I feel the evolution of the old and new design compared to the nostalgic and powerful chimney of the neighboring Minami Yokohama.

小学生には難しいと思うが低年齢層にも解り易い展示解説が充実している。
予約すると火力発電所そのものを見学できる。
是非、学生にも親子連れにも訪問して貰いたい場所。
An exhibition hall for studying at the Isogo Thermal Power Station.
Exhibit explanations that are difficult for elementary school children but easy for even younger people to understand are substantial.
By making a reservation, you can see the thermal power plant itself.
By all means, a place that both students and parents want to visit.
