 An old private house located in Naples Park Park, a typical Soya-style house, often found in the Sarushima-gun region. The roof is thatched and built in a ridge. ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 旧茂田家住宅。古河市総和地区にあるネーブルパーク内の古民家。江戸時代中期（1760年）頃の民家で、茨城県内で一般的な民家より、やや格式高い建物と言われています。
土間の一角に内馬屋があり、古い日本家屋の特徴でもある「田の字」形の造りが確認できます。
中では古民具の展示も行われています。
茅葺き屋根を守るために竈門が焚かれるので、そのための薪が沢山積んでありました。
外からでも煤けた香りがしますよ。
公園内、北西の隅にあります。
ちなみにネーブルパークは県内外の児童/生徒さん達の宿泊学習に利用されたり、一般の企業等の研修施設としても利用可能です。
その他パーク施設として、宿泊棟、バーベキュー、ミニSL、アスレチック、迷路、釣堀、ポニー乗馬、パン屋さん、蕎麦屋さんなどご家族連れにお勧めのスポットです。
Former Shigeta family residence. An old folk house in Navel Park in the Sowa district of Koga city. It is a private house around the middle of the Edo period (1760), and is said to be a slightly more prestigious building than a general private house in Ibaraki prefecture.
There is a Uchibaya in a corner of the dirt floor, and you can see the "rice field" shape that is characteristic of old Japanese houses.
There is also an exhibition of old folk implements inside.
Since the gate was fired to protect the thatched roof, a lot of firewood was piled up for that purpose.
It has a sour scent even from the outside.
Located in the northwest corner of the park.
By the way, Navel Park can be used for accommodation learning for children / students inside and outside the prefecture, and can also be used as a training facility for general companies.
Other park facilities such as accommodation building, barbecue, mini steam locomotive, athletic, maze, fishing pond, pony riding, bakery, soba shop, etc. are recommended spots for families.
