「島川」というコンクリート三面張の小川に沿った敷地は細長く、それほど広くはない。
施設は新しく、比較的最近に造園あるいは再構築された公園だと思う。
公園敷地の南には、川を巧みに取り込んだ親水空間が演出されており、なかなか優れた公園設計だと思った。
横を通る府道２７号線の自動車走行音が、はっきりと聞こえてくるのが惜しいところだが、それほど喧噪とは感じられず、緑化空間に併せて川に設置された流路工で再現されたせせらぎの音は、その欠点を補ってあまりあるものだ。
心が落ち着く、良い公園である。
公園東側の順路を登れば、古い歴史を持ち、古刹の神社仏閣が残る一須賀地区・大ケ塚地区集落に出ることが出来る。
遊具がないので、小さな子のいる若い家族にはちょっと物足りないかもしれないが、きょう見かけた母子のように川縁まで降りて遊ぶのも良いと思うよ。
トイレ、屋根付きベンチ、水道栓は備えられている。

To the south of the park site, a hydrophilic space that skillfully incorporates the river is produced, and I thought it was a very good park design.
It is regrettable that you can clearly hear the sound of the car running on Prefectural Road 27 passing by, but it does not feel so noisy, and the murmuring reproduced by the channel work installed in the river along with the green space. The sound of is more than enough to make up for its shortcomings.
It is a good park where you can relax.
If you climb the route on the east side of the park, you can reach the villages of Ichisuka and Daigatsuka, which have a long history and where the shrines and temples of ancient temples remain.
It may be a little unsatisfactory for young families with small children because there are no playsets, but I think it's good to go down to the riverside and play like the mother and child I saw today.
Toilets, covered benches and taps are provided.
