M	Mkt M on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 室町時代に築かれ佐竹氏に仕えた小野崎氏の居城です。同族の額田城主小野崎氏と区別するために石神氏とも称されました。両家は仲が悪く所領を争い石神小野崎氏は敗れましたが、佐竹氏の周旋もあって所領を回復。佐竹義宣が出羽へ移封されると小野崎通広もそれに従い石神城は廃城となりました。一見すると城塁のように見える巨大な土の壁は郭を囲む空堀の外側に構築された土塁であり北側には水堀の名残りと取れる池と湿地が残されています。最高所には遠見城と呼ばれる郭があり重厚な土塁に囲まれています。二の郭と三の郭も土橋を伴う虎口が綺麗に残っているのが印象的でした。 It is a residence of Mr. Onozaki who was built in the Muromachi period and served Mr. Satake.
