★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 戦国期まで石神氏の居城となっていたところです。花光院の境内が主な城郭域で、県道沿いに案内板が立っています。
 It was a place where Mr. Ishigami lived until the warring period. The precincts of Hanako-in are the main castle area, and a signboard stands along the prefectural road.

花光院がそのまま居館跡だったと思われる。お寺裏はグランドになっており、周囲には土塁が遺る。所々に土塁の残欠が遺っているが、一番の見どころは水堀跡か。田圃とお寺の間にくっきりと認められ、湖水を引いていたのだろう。

It seems that Hanakoin was the site of the residence. The back of the temple is a ground, and earthworks remain around it. There are some remnants of the earthworks, but the main attraction is the remains of the water moat. It was clearly recognized between the rice fields and the temple, and it was probably drawing lake water.
