大同年間（806年〜）創建の神社です。きっと南陽市にある熊野大社と同じ頃に建てられたのだと思います。本殿が向いている方角は真南でなく、西に30度傾いています。由緒の掲示はありませんが、御祭神は、応神天皇、少名毘古那神、宇迦之御魂神、他四柱です。明治時代から大正時代にかけて、周辺の各社がここに合祀されたとのことです。境内は広く、例祭日には伝統の黒獅子の舞が境内で奉納されています。神社の川向こうには、国指定天然記念物の伊佐沢の久保桜が見えます。昔々、伊佐沢や長井・白鷹を治めていた桑島氏の墓木という伝承です。また、獅子彫り師の渋谷さんがやってる蕎麦と餅の店「獅子宿燻亭」も近いので、観光の方は一緒に行ってみると良いでしょう。

There is no historical notice, but the gods of the ritual are Emperor Ojin, Sukuna bi konagami, Ukanomitama god, and four other pillars. From the Meiji era to the Taisho era, the surrounding companies were enshrined here. The precincts are large, and traditional black lion dances are dedicated in the precincts on regular holidays. Beyond the river of the shrine, you can see Kubo Sakura of Isazawa, a nationally designated natural monument. Once upon a time, it is a tradition of the grave tree of Mr. Kuwashima, who ruled Isazawa and Nagai / Shirataka. Also, the soba and rice cake shop "Shishijuku Sumi-tei" run by Shibuya, a lion carver, is nearby, so if you are sightseeing, you should go there together.
