★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 明るく綺麗な一面芝生公園です。休憩出来る東屋も有り、温かくなったら子供連れでノンビリ遊ぶのに良いのではないでしょうか？すぐ近くに道の駅クリスタルポルトの駐車場が有ります。
It is a bright and beautiful one-sided lawn park. There is also an arbor where you can take a break, so if it gets warmer, it might be good for playing with children without any trouble. There is a parking lot at Crystal Port, a roadside station in the immediate vicinity.

文治２年（１１８６）東大寺再建の勧進のため奥州に向かう途中、西行が立ち寄ったという。ここは〔伊良虞船着場跡〕との説明がある。
「伊良湖と西行法師 白洲正子「西行」より」とした碑も建っており、西行と伊良湖についての説明碑ともなっている。
