It is the closest to the Tokyo Metro station but if you are coming from a JR station I think the closest walk is from the southwesternmost gates of Tokyo Station servicing the Keiyo line (near the International Forum building. Otherwise it is quite a walk if you're coming from the Marunouchi side of the Tokyo Station Hotel).

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Come here and try the matcha. Wonderful teas and tea equipment. When you visit a store, you can request to sample 2 kinds of tea.
Their matcha starter kit is wonderful if you'd like to make matcha tea at home. It comes with a high-quality chasen (bamboo whisk), a chashaku (baboo tea ladle), a chawan (tea bowl), a fukin (tea cloth), matcha powder, and detailed, simple instructions on how to prepare matcha well.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Perfect place to buy some tea as a gift or for yourself. For every price budget you can find something. The cheapest matcha tea is the same price as at the supermarket. (Less than 5$ for 40g) but in a lovely cute box, which makes it nicer to bring home.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ They might have some of the highest quality green teas you can get anywhere. Since green tea has a special and somewhat bitter taste, it has to be your thing to really enjoy it.
You can sit in the cafe and order any of their teas which are served with japanese sweets. It is pricey but high quality.
The cup of sencha I chose was ¥1600 and gyokuros and matchas get even more expensive.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great tea shop and tea house. We tried some of their teas and bought some teas and matcha preparation sets as souvenirs and to drink at home. Staff were really helpful and took their time explaining the differences between the different teas and even demonstrated how to prepare matcha. We tried the teas with the richer flavors. Gyokuro, Sencha and Matcha. Probably some of the best tea I had in Japan. The richer flavored teas had no bitterness at all, but instead a very distinct umami flavor. Loved it.
