It starts off a bit sweet, but it actually has a bit of a kick to it, which is rare among Japanese curries. This restaurant specialises in a basic curry, so you won't find any variety in kinds of curry or toppings, but otherwise it's very good. This is a counter-style restaurant with a high turnover, so don't come here if you want to relax.

I hate to say this but nothing on the plate could make me think of curry. This is probably more of a kind of curry that the old generation would prefer...If you are looking for curry that you could taste the flavor of spices, better not to spend time waiting in line.

Portions of rice and curry are huge and it is served with pickled cabbage (curry sauce might be a bit too little for the amount of rice though). Beware that this might be spicy for people who can’t handle spice. Extra raw egg can be added for an additional price as well. Menu only has curry rice and hayashi rice as mains. Counter seats only.
