★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 元は岡山県立陶芸指導所でしたが現在は備前焼陶友会が運営しています。備前焼従事者育成のための1年コースの他に初心者のための1ヶ月短期研修コースもあり延長もできます。先生方や運営担当者はとても親切で各人のレベルに合せ懇切な指導や助言をしてくれます。ロクロ技術の他に時期が合えば穴窯での焼成や石膏型取り、土造り、古窯探索、作家訪問など備前焼に必要な知識が学べます。短期研修者用のゲストハウスも用意されています。

In addition to the one-year course for training Bizen ware workers, there is also a one-month short-term training course for beginners, which can be extended. The teachers and management staff are very kind and give detailed guidance and advice according to each person's level. In addition to the potter's wheel technique, if the time is right, you can learn the knowledge necessary for Bizen ware such as firing in a hole kiln, plaster molding, clay making, searching for an old kiln, and visiting a writer. A guest house for short-term trainees is also available.
