居ませんでした。
いつもは、満開でも余り人が居なく駐車場も空いているのに今年はけっこう人が来ていました。

主家蘆品氏に何度も反旗を翻し、伊達政宗との摺上原の戦いの直前に当主、猪苗代盛国が政宗に内応、蘆名氏を滅亡に追い込む。
以後、会津を領した大名が領有する。
江戸時代では一国一城令の例外として存続し、会津鶴ヶ城の出城の役割を担い、戊辰戦争では官軍の侵攻により自焼し城の機能を喪失した。

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 7月後半連休でも、まだ紫陽花が綺麗に咲いていた。また、幼児向け遊具のあるわんぱく広場や水遊びのできる噴水池、せせらぎもあり、たくさんの子供がいた。水深は浅く、幼児でも安心して遊べる。
Even during the second half of July, the hydrangea was still in full bloom. There were also many children, including a naughty open space with playground equipment for infants, a fountain for playing in the water, and murmuring. The water is shallow, so even infants can play with peace of mind.

個人的には続100名城に入らなかったのが
不思議なぐらいの推し城です。
戊辰戦争を経験した石垣は荒々しく見事です。
また北側には中世の城である鶴峰城もあり
こちらは土造りでセットで見てほしいです。

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ GWに訪問すると桜が満開でした。
磐梯山の南側にちょこんと長くでた尾根沿いにあり猪苗代湖畔までの平地が見渡せます。お城がここに築かれるのも納得です。
強風が趨勢を左右した摺上原の古戦場も近く、冷たい風が強く吹いていました。
面積は広くはないですが、意外に急斜面で、大手から石垣があり良かったと思います。
When I visited GW, the cherry blossoms were in full bloom.
If you go to the south side of Mt. Aoyama, you can see the flat ground to the shore of Lake Inawashiro along the long ridge. I am convinced that the castle is built here.
The old battlefield of Surikamihara where the strong wind influenced the trend was close, and a cold wind was blowing strongly.
Although the area is not large, it is unexpectedly steep and I think it was good to have a stone wall from a major company.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ まだまだ 残雪があり 大手より先には進めませんでした。本丸まで行けば周りの景色も見れたんですが…
残雪から覗く石垣がなかなか良かったです。
There was still snow left and I couldn't go beyond the major companies. If I went to the main circle, I could see the scenery around me ...
The stone wall peeking from the remaining snow was quite good.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 会津若松の鶴ヶ城に対しこちらは亀ヶ城とされています。輪郭式の丘城で石垣のほか土塁や深い堀が壮観で非常に見応えのある城です。
余談ながら二の丸には海外から寄贈されたとする野口英世先生の像があります。私も尊敬する方なんですが首だけの像なので初めて見た方は一瞬ぎょっとするかも(^^;
This is said to be Kamega Castle, as opposed to Tsuruga Castle in Aizuwakamatsu. It is a contoured hill castle with stone walls, earthworks and deep moats that are spectacular and very spectacular.
As an aside, there is a statue of Hideyo Noguchi, who is said to have been donated from overseas, in Ninomaru. I also respect him, but since it's a statue of only the neck, the person who sees it for the first time may be scared for a moment (^^;
