2022年3月28日に参拝しました。この神社の場所は、安東氏が築いた藤崎城の西の丸に当たります。この神社は、城の館神として祀られたことが起りと思われます。藤崎城落城後に稲荷神社になったようです。明治期に一時、鹿嶋神社境内に遷座されたことが有ったようですが、住民の働きかけで、元の現在地に祀られています。藤崎城は、前九年の役で敗死した安倍貞任の次男である高星丸が、寛治6年1092年に築城したと言われています。この稲荷神社から藤崎八旛宮までの間に本丸が有ったと考えられます。神社裏の堤防上から平川を見下ろしました。古地図では、湾曲している部分の護岸に、城の船着き場が築かれていた模様です。境内から建武元年1334年の板碑が発見され、現在も見学できます。

I visited on March 28, 2022. The location of this shrine corresponds to the Nishimaru of Fujisaki Castle built by Mr. Ando. It is believed that this shrine was enshrined as the god of the castle. It seems that it became Inari Shrine after the fall of Fujisaki Castle. It seems that it was once relocated to the precincts of Kashima Shrine during the Meiji era, but it is enshrined at its original location due to the efforts of the residents. Fujisaki Castle is said to have been built by Takaboshi Maru, the second son of Abe no Sadato, who died in the role of nine years ago, in 1092, 6th year of Kanji. It is probable that there was a main enclosure between this Inari shrine and Fujisaki Hachimangu. I looked down on Hirakawa from the embankment behind the shrine. On the old map, it seems that the pier of the castle was built on the revetment of the curved part. A board monument in 1334, the first year of Kenmu, was discovered in the precincts and can still be visited today.
