球技も盛んな、良い公園だと思います。

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 西側に今もある野球グラウンドは草野球試合の定番。南の円筒形の建物が昔は中村図書館だった。その隣には市営屋外プールがあった。
出入口付近で駄菓子売りが紙芝居で客寄せしてたり、飴細工職人に動物や恐竜作ってもらったり、わらび餅や焼き芋、リヤカーのラーメン屋も来てた。
めちゃくちゃ 個人的なんだけど、ここに来ると小学生だった当時の事を思い出して心が暖かくなる。
The baseball ground that still exists on the west side is a staple of grass baseball games. The cylindrical building in the south used to be the Nakamura Library. Next to it was a municipal outdoor pool.
Near the doorway, candy sellers gathered in picture-story shows, candy craftsmen made animals and dinosaurs, and warabi mochi, roasted sweet potatoes, and rearcar ramen shops also came.
It's insanely personal, but when I come here, it makes me feel warm when I remember when I was in elementary school.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 落ち着いた感じの公園ですね。ウォーキングには丁度良い感じの大きさです。またアクテノンという演劇練習館があります。野球場も有り、芝が張られていて綺麗でした。但し野球場とアクテノンは有料です。駐車場もあるにはあるんですが、有料施設を利用する人しか停められません。あと、珍しく身体障がい者用の電話ボックスがありました。
It's a calm park. It's just the right size for walking. There is also a theater practice hall called Actenon. There was also a baseball field, and the grass was covered and it was beautiful. However, there is a charge for the baseball field and Actenon. There is a parking lot, but only people who use paid facilities can park. Also, there was a rare telephone booth for the physically challenged.

現在の演劇練習館の建物は、昭和12年(1937年)に稲葉地配水塔として建設され、昭和19年(1944年)まで機能しました。その後昭和40年(1965年)から平成7年(1991年)までの間は中村図書館として、市民に親しまれ、平成7年(1995年)からは演劇をはじめとした様々なジャンルの練習に活用される演劇練習館アクテノンとして生まれ変わりました。古代ギリシャ神殿風の建物は名古屋市の都市景観重要建築物に選ばれています。

The current theater practice hall building was built as an Inabaji water distribution tower in 1937, and functioned until 1944. After that, from 1965 (Showa 40) to 1995 (Heisei 7), it was familiar to the citizens as the Nakamura Library, and from 1995 (1995) it was used for practicing various genres including theater. It was reborn as the theater practice hall Actenon. The ancient Greek temple-style building has been selected as an important cityscape building in Nagoya.
