★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 赤穴八幡宮の所管社で、「今石神社」である。御祭神は、八嶋士奴美命（やしましのみのみこと）・飯石津倍命（いいしつべのみこと）・天穂日命（あめのほひのみこと）の三柱。この磐座は、『出雲国風土記」飯石郡の条にある「石次野（いわすきの）」や「磐鉏川（いわすきがわ）」の語源になった。『古事記』は、出雲鴨族の本拠地を「國忍富神（くにおしとみのかみ）」という神様の名で表しており、この磐鉏のあたりを指している。
境内は、拝殿、幣殿、ご神体の磐鉏で構成されており、毎年１１月１日、赤穴八幡宮の御例祭には、この幣殿に１９本の幣を奉る習わしとなっている。
 It is the jurisdiction company of Akana Hachimangu Shrine and is “Imaishi Shrine”. The three gods of the festival are Yashima Shitomi Mikoto (only for Yamashima), Iizutsu Bimei (for the sake of Ishitsube), and Nihon Ameho (for the sake of Amenohohi). This scorpio was the origin of “Iwasakino” and “Iwasakigawa” in the section of Izuishi-gun, “Izumo Country Climate”. “Kojiki” refers to the Izumo Kamo tribe's headquarters in the name of the god “Kunioshitomi no Kami”, and refers to the area around this shrine.
The precincts are composed of a worship hall, a temple hall, and a sacred body of gods. Every year on November 1st, at the annual festival of Akana Hachimangu Shrine, 19 temples are dedicated to this temple.
