障碍者の方でも利用しやすいようにこのエリアからトイレやエリア内の店舗へのアクセスはスロープになっているので単独または介助者の助けがあれば容易に可能な構造になっています。
一方でSAの端にあるのでトイレには一番近いですがフードコートエリアまでの距離は少しあるのと市原SAは歩行者通路が少々狭いので混雑している時間帯は車椅子などの移動が大変かもしれません。
また、雨天時などにはトイレやフードコート側からスタスタと普通に歩いて車に乗り込む「本当にこの場所が必要ですか？」というシーンをたまに見かけるので万一不正利用されているのであれば大変残念に思います。
