★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 見た目も綺麗な図書館ですが、本も豊富で係の方も親切で言うことなしです。本がなければ他の市から取り寄せて借りられるというのも画期的で便利です。二階には小さい子供を遊ばせる場所もあって、雨の日はその為に行きたくなります(笑)。絵本を読み聞かせたり、走り回って遊べます。また、ここで開催されている料理教室で覚えたプリンは市販のものとは比べ物にならないくらい美味しかったです。レンジでチンして作る手軽なものだったのにスゴいです！そういった意味では、本を借りることに限らず、子供から大人まで本当に生涯学習できる施設と言えるのではないでしょうか。
 The library looks beautiful, but the books are plentiful and the people involved are kind and never say. It is also epoch-making and convenient to be able to order and borrow from other cities without a book. There is also a place on the second floor where you can play small children, and on rainy days I would like to go there (laughs). You can read picture books and play around. Also, the pudding I learned in the cooking class being held here was delicious enough to compare with the commercial ones. It is great though it was a handy thing to make with a range. In that sense, it is not limited to borrowing books, but it may be a facility where children and adults can really learn from a lifetime.

Toddlers can enjoy it and it's not so crowded. And it's free.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 新発田駅前の子育て支援施設です。図書館内にあるため、ちょっと気を使いますね。スタッフ皆さん親切で助かっています。なお、2020年9月現在12時から13時30分まで換気及び消毒の時間となっていますのでご注意を。
It is a child-rearing support facility in front of Shibata Station. It's in the library, so be careful. All the staff are kind and helpful. Please note that as of September 2020, ventilation and disinfection time is from 12:00 to 13:30.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 予約すれば分館の本も取り寄せてもらえるので選択肢が多く嬉しいです。駐車場が少々不便ですが、市街地なので仕方ないですね。
If you make a reservation, you will be able to order books from the annex, so I am happy that you have many choices. The parking lot is a little inconvenient, but it can't be helped because it's an urban area.

開放的で明るい館内はカフェ、親子向けスペース、学習室、スタジオを持ち、様々な用途で利用できます。開架図書、雑誌も充実しています。
駅前という立地のため駐車場が狭い点がマイナスポイントです。
Opened in July 2016. 2 minutes on foot from Shibata station. There is a convenience store in the vicinity. Free Wi-Fi available. The learning space is open until 21:30.
The open and bright interior has a cafe, a space for parents and children, a study room and a studio, which can be used for various purposes. Open books and magazines are also substantial.
The point where the parking lot is narrow because of the location in front of the station is a minus point.
