飼い主向けのトリミングスクール「犬塾」に通いました。自分が申し込みを検討した際に口コミが見つけられずに困ったので書いておきます。まずカリキュラムのようなものはありません。初回はカットに至らなかったような気がします。 2回目以降も行くたびに通しですべてやります。飼い主やわんちゃんによると思いますが、休憩なしで5時間などが普通です。そのせいか、3回目くらいから「家でなにかやってきた～？」と聞かれます。何かができるまで練習するというより、行くたびにその日の講師サポートの元トリミングするというイメージに近いです。できないことはできないままの可能性もあります。先生によって教え方は全く違いますし、通学ルールの認識が異なる場合などもあります。噛まれることを恐れて羽交い絞めにするような先生もいますし、手慣れていてスムーズに対応してくれる先生もいます。 1-2回目に爪切りだけで1時間かかって気が遠くなったので、それ以来爪切りはしなくなりました。先生にしていただいたり、自宅で電動やすりを使ったりするようになりました。カットはだんだん自分で適当にやるようになり、自分で実践するなかで、気になったことを聞くことが多いですが、月に1回未満程度の通学だとあまり記憶に残らないのが難しいところです。個人的な印象としては、近所で、かつ立ち仕事がつらくなく、トリミング中にじっとしてくれるようなわんちゃんであれば、通ってみてもよいのかなと思います。
