★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 城址は峠から見上げたところにある石碑付近と考えられています．
この付近はもろい礫岩でできていて，東側は比高150メートルの断崖絶壁，奇勝を為しています．この急崖を「ままこ落とし」と云います．城の遺構もまた，崖の崩落と共に失われてしまっています．
なお，標高855mの大穴山最高点は石碑付近です．（他に目印はありません）大穴山の二等三角点（標高849.3m）は，峠の南側の道を20分ほどたどったところにあります．
 The ruins of the castle are thought to be near the stone monument, as seen from the pass.
This area is made of fragile conglomerate, and the eastern side is a cliff with a height of 150 meters and a strange victory. This steep cliff is called "Mamako drop". The remains of the castle have also been lost with the collapse of the cliff.
The highest point of Oanayama at an altitude of 855m is near the stone monument. (There is no other landmark.) The second triangle of Oanayama (849.3m above sea level) is about 20 minutes on the southern side of the pass.
