★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 太山寺塔頭の一院で､江戸時代後期に妙覚院と改称され､さらに明治4年に現在の院号に改められたそうです。昭和33年の火災で門塀以外は全て焼失し､現在の阿弥陀堂や庫裏等は再建されたものになります。
庭園は主庭に枯山水庭門､表門の間に前庭が存在します。
 It is a temple at the head of Taisanji Temple, and was renamed Myokakuin in the latter half of the Edo period, and was renamed to the current name in 1884. The fire in 1958 burned down everything except the gate wall, and the current Amida-do and the back of the warehouse have been rebuilt.
As for the garden, there is a dry landscape garden gate in the main garden and a front yard between the front gates.
