銘菓『千代の梅(しそ巻き)』は、柔らかい北海道の大納言小豆こし餡を求肥に包み、更に塩漬けで漬けた紫蘇の葉をその上からのせる。お上品な、砂糖甘さが口の中で漂います。
 It is a long-established Japanese confectionery shop representing local Iiyama.
Famous confection "Chiyo no Ume (Siso-Maki)" is made by wrapping a soft Hokkaido Onano adzuki bean paste in a fertilizer, and then adding salted and pickled Shiso leaves from above. Elegant sugar sweetness drifts in your mouth.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 小さなお店でしたが、ご主人はとても親切で温和な方でした。店内には昔懐かしい写真が飾って有り昔の街を見られました。おやきを野沢、きりぼし、あんこの３種類買いましたが、他で食べたものよりもふわふわで蒸しまんじゅうみたいでしたが、味は濃すぎず薄過ぎずとても美味しくて、また食べたくなりました。
Although it was a small shop, my husband was very kind and gentle. There were nostalgic photos in the store and you could see the old town. クリームもサラッとしてて優しい甘さで子供たちも喜んで食べてました。
午後に買いに行きましたが人気のようで残り少しでした。

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Simple but incredible, walked by the shop quite randomly but was greatly by a fine gentleman. Went for the banana cream cake in the fridge for pudding and it was just stunning. A very local experience for me as a visitor!
