小・中・高校は小規模だが町内に全て揃っている。
頓原中学校・飯南高校はそれぞれ丘の上に建っているが、登校時間に坂道で生徒たちに出会うと、立ち止まって、車に向かってお辞儀をしてくれる。こんな学校で子供を育てたい。
森林セラピー、スキー場、キャンプ場、釣り堀、神話ゆかりの山、温泉、牡丹、りんご・・・自然豊かな郷。
今時、都会にあるもので手に入らないものはほとんどないが、ここには都会では絶対に手に入らないものがある。住んでよし、働いてよしの町。

Small, middle and high schools are small but all in town.
Sugawara Junior High School and Iinan High School are each built on a hill, but when they meet students on the slopes at school, they stop and bow to the car. I want to raise a child at such a school.
