★ ★ ★ ★ ★ we stay for one night .my wife surprise me for my 60th birthday and i am very happy cause new awaji hotel also gave me a pleasant and good service for my birthday .all staff is nice and good .the food is very good and the onsen is very very good i like to visit again new awaji hotel next time.thanks to my wife to choose this hotel superb and nice room and view.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Stayed at this resort ryokan for a night enroute to the laGer island of Shikoku. Nice comfy place with an outdoor onsen facing the ocean. Mix for the sexes to be in it but wear a white robe !

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I used the onsen, it was lovely. Clean facility, nice hot water, exposure to nature. I comfortably spent an hour here, which is a long time for me to spend in a bath. I particularly like their shampoo and wash scent. It’s a really refreshing orange.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ If you're someone looking for a Japanese style hotel (旅館) and want to experience Japanese style dishes (和食), this is the best place for you. The hotel is located near the ocean and the panoramic view is beautiful especially sunrise. We stayed in a Deluxe Sea View room with an open air bath. All the staffs are really kind and polite. And being in a deluxe room, we had our private helper, who is always in her Kimono. My first impression of the room was "real Japanese room". To top it off, the dishes was so amazing. Each dish compliments the other dishes. The dishes were served with art and grace. The dishes were served depending on the season. Ours was summer season so fishes were served fresh and cold sake on the side. This hotel will give you an experience you'll never forget.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The immediate face to face room staff were very kind. Otherwise, over-priced and unaccommodating. Within five minutes of arriving in our room after paying for the whole stay, non-refundable, we wanted to leave but felt trapped.
Nowhere in the policies or advertisements are their notices regarding foreigners with tattoos being barred from the onsen (the main reason we came to visit and onsen hotel is for the onsen) and then we are made to feel unwelcomed and imposing.
Food is tastey yet at times untimely. Most social venues, bars, restaurants are closed. The pool is unusable by adults without wading through screaming children from open to close.
The parking situation is dangerous though many staff attempt to remedy the situation through traffic control there is not a sense of security or car.
Overall, a very expensive, irritating, and exhausting experience.
